There are many classic cars in Cuba. Some are available for hire. They really are old cars. When the Embargo took effect in 1963, Cuba could not import new cars, and while now you do see some new cars, not American made, they are shipped in by private individuals with means. These classic cars are kept in mint condition, and ride well. I experienced a ride in one, and it was fun. Many use their cars for tourist as a way to earn a living.
