Description
This housing is left over from the Communist era of Budapest Hungary. Because Budapest did not have money to rebuild after the war and after the Russians occupied shortly after the war, the housing remains. Communist Europe built cheap buildings all over Europe after the war. Some cities were able to tear them down after the collapse of the Berlin Wall. Others like Budapest could not afford to in many places.
