Description
This Gray Headed Swamp Hen and its reflection was spotted at Wakodahatchee Wetlands in Delray Beach Florida. I previously identified this as a Purple Gallinule, but learned the difference. The PG has a yellow tip at the end of its beak and yellow legs. This bird's legs are orange! I saw both while there. This is considered southeast Florida. This area is fast becoming my favorite spot to photograph wildlife especially birds. I often see threatened species here that I have never seen before like the Eastern Indigo Snake.

Wow! that's crazy! I live in Pompano Beach. Never thought a bird like this would be nearby.
